Designing Women celebrate the season with two Holiday Shows!

We are excited about this Holiday Season! 

Please join us at one of our upcoming events in Portsmouth on November 27th or in Portland on December 11th. You are sure to find that wonderful, unique, and personal gift you cannot find in the big box stores. 

Our Portsmouth benefiting non-profit is A Safe Place, a crisis and domestic violence shelter. The Portland benefiting non-profit is Partners for Rural Health in the Dominican Republic.

Freeport Show to Benefit Women, Work & Community

We are excited to return to Freeport on Saturday, November 20th to host our annual show. Women, Work and Community will be the benefiting non-profit. Many of our designing women members have taken classes or know someone who has benefited from this wonderful organization. We are delighted to give back and to assist such amazing women helping other women in Maine! Please join us! Start that holiday shopping early - no need to wait until after Thanksgiving!

Designing Women Fine Art & Craft - Bangor Show to Benefit Women, Work & Community

We have a beautiful show planned for the 6th of November! 

Please join use from 9am - 4pm at the Center for Family Business, located on Husson University's Bangor campus. The suggested $2 door donation and all refreshment proceeds will benefit Women, Work and Community (womenworkandcommunity.com), a wonderful non-profit with several locations throughout Maine that focuses on educating women in order to help them succeed economically. 

Over 20 exhibitors will be on hand to present their beautiful, handmade, locally-made wares. 

Start your Holiday shopping early - you will be sure to find the perfect item to adorn your Thanksgiving table or give as a seasonal gift. Products are timeless, made in Maine and unique. They are sure to delight the senses and the receiver! 

Kennebunkport Show - October 2, 2010

Over twenty-five local female artists and craftwomen will converge on the Kennebunkport Consolidated School to display their high quality and beautifully handcrafted pottery, handbags, glasswork, handwoven clothing and accessories, home accents, stained glass, and sculptural ceramic art. Items will range in size and price. The suggested $2.00 door donation and all lunch/refreshment proceeds will be donated to The Children’s Program at Graves Library.

Second Annual Labor Day Show in Camden Supports New Hope for Women

We are looking forward to another fantastic show in beautiful Camden, Maine. Please join us at the First Congregational Church (55 Elm St.) from 9am - 3pm this Saturday, September 4th. Support New Hope for Women and be entered to win a wonderful handmade quilt!

New Show!

designing women is growing! We'll have a new show this weekend, a Sunday show, in North Conway, NH.  Winter Carnival will be going on so there's lots to do. You can find us right in the heart of North Conway Village at the Eastern Slop Inn. We'll be there from 9:30 to 3:30. Lots to look at and buy!
